We are Independent Financial Advisers, which means that we offer products from the whole market and give our clients the option of paying for our services by fee.
Our financial adviser and Managing Director, Kim Andrew Lincoln has been providing clients with financial planning solutions since 1992.
Our main business is providing investment advice, though we do have a mortgage arm which will focus on larger loan remortgages when the mortgage section for this website is completed.
We are a forward looking and innovative Company that puts its money where its mouth is when it comes to treating clients fairly.
In 2003 we devised a unique way of charging for mortgage advice called ‘Fixed Fee & Commission Back', which clients love, because on average they have made a profit from for the advice they have received from us. This is why we say that ‘it pays you to do business with us.’
In 2006 the ‘Safety First Strategy’ was launched, which has protected our client’s capital from the subsequent fall in investment markets. And our Mortgage clients have benefitted too because all the mortgage products we recommended in the lead up to the ‘Credit Crunch’ were ‘Lifetime Trackers’.
To coincide with the launch of this website we have created another first called ‘FAIRway’ which is an enlightened way of charging for our Safety First Strategy – Investment Advisory Service. With this system clients with modest amounts to invest (under £20,000) can be helped and wealthier ones do not face a high front end fee.
For example, with ‘FAIRway’ the initial advice fee for a client with £1,000,000 to invest in the Safety First Strategy- Investment Advisory Service would be £500, whereas other IFA firms would usually charge about £10,000 to £30,000 for advice on this amount.

Kim Andrew Lincoln Cert PFS CeMAP
Kim is the Company founder, Managing Director and team leader. He spent six years as a Financial Planning Consultant with a major insurer before joining a Telford based firm of Independent Financial Advisers (I.F.A.) in 1998. Two years later he set up his own I.F.A. consultancy practice, Lincoln Investment Management. In 2003 it was merged into the mortgage advice business, MortgageMaude Limited, and for administrative reasons the name was dropped. K A LINCOLN > INVESTMENTS is a trading style of MortgageMaude Limited that was introduced in 2008 to distinguish it from the mortgage side and to ensure that we received no more phone calls from people thinking that we were the head office of the insurance giant Lincoln Financial Group!
In his leisure time Kim’s abiding passions (apart from his grandchildren) are music and literature. If he is not ‘letting off steam’ on the drums he can usually be found at his computer writing songs and poetry and letters to the press. He also likes to relax walking in the beautiful Shropshire countryside.
Elizabeth Lincoln
Elizabeth is the Finance Director responsible for day to day financial administration. She keeps track of all the payments going into and out of the Company, including donations to the International Tree Foundation - as we sponsor the Trees for Schools project. Liz has been Kim’s business partner since 1984 and has worked alongside him in the Financial Services Industry since they married in 1991. Liz spent her early working life at the Passport Office and Inland Revenue and during the 1980’s was Kim’s fellow director in a sales and marketing consultancy business.
Liz is an avid gardener and is happiest when the sun is shining and she is able to potter about in her garden. Liz also likes doing crosswords and playing Mahjong because they help to ‘clear the mind’
Anthony
Anthony is the genius who looks after everything to do with the companies’ computers and things of a technical nature. Anthony has recently added website design to his formidable array of skills and Kim and Elizabeth are indebted to him for the huge effort he has put into creating this website.
